WARRANTY & REPAIR POLICY
Our Commitment to Your Wetsuit’s Performance.
7VEN SURF™ Wetsuits carry a 12-month limited warranty which covers workmanship, seams, seam taping and zippers. If the product is found to be defective during the warranty period and under normal use and proper care, 7VEN SURF™ will repair or replace the product at its sole discretion. The decision to repair or replace the product will be made by the 7VEN SURF™ Warranty Repair Department.
Warranty is valid from date of original purchase, please provide proof of purchase in order to validate the timeline.
WHAT’S NOT COVERED?
- Product repaired or altered by anyone other than 7VEN SURF™ or an 7VEN SURF™ authorized repair facility.
- Product out of the warranty time period. We can assist you with repairs for wetsuits outside of warranty however this will be at your own cost.
- Normal wear and tear, including fading due to extended exposure to sunlight, excessive use, abuse, or neglect.
- Product that has not been cared for properly as per 7VEN SURF™ Care Instructions that are provided with the product.
- Product used for commercial purposes, including but not limited to rentals, teaching or instructional purposes.
- Accidental or other loss of the product.
- All claims for consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to, seam damage due to incorrect fit, rips or tears caused by rocks or fins or misuse.
- This warranty does not cover damages to the product caused by interaction with animals, whether on land or in water. This includes, but is not limited to, damages caused by pets, sharks, seals, or any other unspecified wildlife or domestic animals.
WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE A WARRANTY CLAIM?
Step 1 – Notify 7VEN SURF™ via the website www.7vensurf.com We will get back to you shortly.
Step 2 – Rinse your wetsuit in fresh cold water and allow to dry properly. Please note that repairs cannot be conducted until your wetsuit is properly cleaned and dried.
Step 3 – We will arrange for your wetsuit to be collected, repaired and returned to you. This service is covered under your Warranty Policy. If your wetsuit is deemed irreparable by the 7VEN SURF™ Warranty Department, we will send you a replacement.
*Please note that the average wetsuit repair turnaround time is 3 weeks. There however are times where delays are caused outside of our control (Load shedding, rioting, hijacking, flooding etc…) You are welcome to contact us to follow up on your warranty/repair status anytime.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY WETSUIT IS OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY BUT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED?
Step 1 – Notify 7VEN SURF™ via the website www.7vensurf.com We will get back to you shortly.
Step 2 – Rinse your wetsuit in fresh cold water and allow to dry properly. Please note that repairs cannot be conducted until your wetsuit is properly cleaned and dried.
Step 3
- Option A– We will arrange for your wetsuit to be collected, repaired, and returned to you. This will be at your own cost, we will send you a quote beforehand and payment will be up front.
- Option B – We will put you in contact with an 7VEN SURF™ preferred repair center and you can arrange your repairs directly with them.
Our Shipping Policy.
Our shipping policy is pretty straightforward. When you buy a wetsuit we will ship it to you for free via PUDO: either directly to any address or PUDO drop off or collection point you specify. It usually takes 1-2 business days. Outlying areas may take longer.
If it’s the wrong size we will arrange a pick up and send you a different size at no cost to you.
Should you have a warranty claim for any reason specified under our warranty policy, again we will pick it up and send it back at no cost.
Should you damage your suit and need a repair, this unfortunately will be at you own cost.
